Where are downloaded videos saved on Android?

In the Downloads folder (usually /Downloads or /Download in your file manager). Chrome shows finished downloads in its notification shade — tap it to open the file.

Do I need to install an APK or downloader app?

Why is the video quality lower than in the app?
